Brutalj is my personal project. It's a virtual collection of Ljubljana's most misunderstood architectural style - brutalism and its most prominent creators. It is meant to challenge our idea of beauty, the understanding of the world around us and how we react to it. The website aims to bring this architectural style closer to people and, by doing so, helps to preserve it. In contrast to typical brutalist websites, it is made with good user experience in mind. The website consists of bold typographic layouts, animations, and interactions. It is visually uncompromising but easy to navigate and use.
