My role at Niftify was to lead an internal product design team to build a platform that allows brands to create their own NFT marketplaces or stores. Like Squarespace or Shopify, but with all the blockchain goodies like smart contracts, drops, NFT creation, NFT import, and many other fancy, market-leading features. On top of this, we gave our users almost complete visual control of their marketplace or store with a page builder. We also established a design system while building the product.

The project included many technical and usability challenges, all synonymous with web3. We operated on a very tight timeline which was also a significant challenge on its own. But with good collaboration between the product and tech team, we delivered a powerful 1st version of the product without too many UX shortcuts. The product allowed the company to secure more funds for the following stages to improve and build on the product.
